Home Made Advent Calander

This is another design of Helen's from Hugs and Kisses. I have altered a few things so it suited my style. I finished this mid December last year so we have used it for the first time this year. We have worked it so one child has odd days and the other even.

What fun! I bet the children really look forward to finding their treasure each morning (especially when it's their turn). What a lovely tradition.

looks great Sarah, I hadnt seen it finished... we put three little things in each day, like pencils, stickers and sometimes chocolate coins etc... Tilly is getting very good at reading numbers! hugs, Helen

Such a nice one, and a good idea to let the children share. I made cross stitched calendars, one for my son and one for my daugther. 48 small gifts every year for about 15 years, I will not count..... This is the first year we don´t use them, but now they are 20 and 18....

That's so sweet and I love the little bells hanging at the bottom.
