Different variety? You can get all different colours of zucchini not just blackjack (which is the supermarket one)

I was about to say different variety and then I saw Claire's comment. Yep, I'd agree with Claire.

Yeah I was thinking variety too.
At least yours have grown. Mine were eaten by snails before they got established. Boo- hoo.

Hi Sarah,
I have planted these lighter coloured zuccs this year for a change. Although I seem to be getting some through that have dark green strips running down them. They still taste the same!

Mine are exactly the same and I was shocked initially too. They are the Lebanese variety and taste great.

The lebanese variety is light in color and much tastier, I think, than the dark colored ones. Enjoy!

I bought some of these at the farmer's market yesterday - they're a buttery cream variety - delicious with a little lemon juice and pepper ( and butter if you're not dieting).... lucky you!

Well I always plant BlackJack and have copious amounts of fruit, this year I mistakenly bought the Lebanese ones and honestly, mine have been useless. They have been in for two months, hardly grown, no fruit, mildew - need I go on!
