Yummy Sarah. Apricots are my favourite fruit, I love them. Sadly our apricot tree got blown in the wind and it split in two and we lost it, sob!!
Did you find out about your zucchini's? DH said yes its variety- zucchini's are normally dark green to blackish green and the courgette variety are lighter. I thought they were all the same but the market gardener says no. lol

Oh Yum, you are right, nothing does beat apricots from your own tree. I've never had an apricot tree, but have been blessed to have friends with them and they have been awesome. Somehow the fruit you buy from the shops is just not the same as home grown.

We have a small apricot tree. Last year it bore some fruit but it was rather sour, I think it may have been due to lack of warmth in our part of the northern hemisphere. We made some jam with them and it is was lovely.

We're eating ours now too, they're so delicious, full of flavour and juicy!
We've even planted a second tree cause we can't get enough of them!

Ahhh! They look divine! Apricots straight from the tree are heavenly and they say "summer" to me. All the apricot trees I have had the pleasure of picking and eating fruit from came to mind when I saw your photo!

Wish we could grow them here.....a little too warm for apricots in sub-tropical queensland. Plus I suspect the parrots or the fruit bats might beat me to the fruit.
