A mum of 14,12 and 3 & 1/2 year old boys. Attempting daily to be a good mum, haggle with the grind, try to live with some sort of sustainable attitude and a good concoction of craft. Welcome
Sorry Sarah, I think you should join! It is lovely. And I am finding now that I have my account set up that I don't actually spend that much extra time there. It's more just pinning lovely things when I see them in my usual blog/computer jaunts. I spent this evening having a look at what my friends had pinned lately and that was lovely too. I don't do that that often. Join!
I joined, but haven't been putting it to good use yet. Guess I need to play with it a little more, but with summer in full swing I am too busy right now. I say join and post some tips for me!
I think you should join, so I won't stop it. I've been on there for a month now. It is so much fun and so much easier to save projects. So my good advise is: JOIN IN!!!!
1. Because the minute you join you begin to follow every facebook contact you have that is also on Pinterest...and they might have 10 or 20 or 30 boards. I spent hours deleting and unfollowing and haven't been back (and just realised that I sound like a cranky old lady who doesn't really understand what she is talking about)
I joined up just last night and spent ages doing it and then when I woke up this morning I thought "why did I do that when I am trying to spend less time on the puter and streamline where I am on the internet" not sure what I will do with it now, but I think after the initial setup I probably won't use it as I have Flickr with all my faves file there and contacts and I don't think I need another, it will be good to see what you decide
I am using it to collate my ideas for Christmas (it's my folly - I like to theme) and I have started a board to pin gift ideas because I get some really good ones but when I need to buy them I have totally forgotten what I had thought of in the first place. I don't really intend following anyone but more collating info for me to refer back to. I have in mind to collate patchwork designs I like too.

Oh Wow! I see what you mean, Sarah, I could seriously spend hours looking at everything on this site!
