Hot summer food

Like most parts of Australia it has been hot. We have been putting meals together that avoid much cooking. Thanks to Kelly from Taurus Rising who inspired me to have a go at making tortillas. You know one less piece of plastic, no additives etc and they are yummy. I might have cooked them a little tad long but the whole family raved and asked for them again.

So easy. I even used the bread maker to mix.

Brilliant.

These look so delicious, never thought to make the tortilla dough....pity I can't get the midget to eat lettuce and that I gave away the bread maker.

Oh wow! You made the tortillas? I am so impressed! Were they way more wonderful than the packaged variety? My kids are in love with tortillas.
