Check it check it check it out!

This is the very first ever item I have made for myself to wear and I am pretty chuffed with it!

It is a Toni Coward versatile wrap from Make It Perfect Pattern.

This will be my last finished for 2010. Roll on 2011.

Hexy crazy

While the stitching hexagon group have a Christmas break I have moved on to 1/2 inch hexagons. Will be making a journal cover with these little ones. So relaxing to do in front of the box in the evenings...

We still have not got our Christmas Tree up! Christmas cooking gifts starts this week and cards/letters are all mailed so we are going good. How are you going?

Healing Hearts for New Zealand

When a total stranger offers some empathy it has a big effect. I love the healing heart quilt idea so I have contributed to Shirley's Healing Heart Block call out. Thanks to Jo who brought it to my attention.

Oh gollygosh!

I was at The Craft Hive last week teaching how to make this bag - it was a GREAT class. Kits are really popular at the shop at the moment. SO while Mum (bless her!) had the little man for six hours I put together five kits to make these bags! I finished this bag so I could do photos for the kits and also finished quilting the Little Mans lap quilt. What a really productive day.

School Fair

I never really have been big in helping out with the school fair. Last year I made a few things. I just did not get organised enough this year so I have baked instead. Creamy Lemon Slice, Almond and Pistachio and Chocolate Slice. You got to reward yourself when you achieved something - especially when it is hard to do something for yourself!
