Wow what a great day! I was really excited but about an hour and a half before - the nerves started to kick in. Then I had my first sale and I was right. No one laughed at me - well actually
Molly - who was back to back with me did but she was good value and kept me (an helper son in the morning) entertained all day.
Marita was opposite me so kept me full of smiles and support. Lots of other lovely store owners cheered me on and made me feel super dupper good about the stall and goodies. Thank you all so much! I will make a few changes and set out a little different at
The Barn Market on the 5th of June. Lets hope this days is twice as busy!
I have plenty of stock I can now get back to doing my own thing which will be so nice for a change. I have my sisters pressie to finish (March - shame I know), a quilt to quilt (I have been avoiding for a long time) and another quilt on my table before I will even look in my bulging craft-to-do suitcase.

Hi Sarah..it's been ages...still catching up on Blogs now that I have my computer back & running...well done on your first Market stall..Love what you've been making...
cheers
Well done Sarah! Was it fun along with the nerves? Rude question here - was it worth it financially?
What sold well? What else would you do differently? What other stalls/product created excitement?
Congratulations for taking the giant leap Sarah! The first one is always daunting but it's heaps of fun after that. Hope you get to enjoy a sleep in tomorrow.
Sarah, I am so thrilled that you had a fabulous day without any big scary monsters to put you off.
Hope you sold heaps,
hugs Deb
Your stall looked fabulous Sarah. Hopefully the Barn Market is a bigger success with the knowledge you've acquired from doing Handmade!!
