Two treats in one day!

I sweetly asked a fellow blogger if she would make me one of these and I will send her what ever she desired. She SAID YES!!!! I received her today and just love love love her. It is such a treat to receive hand made items!

Also Lisa from A Spoon Full of Sugar posted about this book which I fell in love with. Bloggers are such a bad influence on me. I seriously have to put a good dent in my to do list so I can make some of these gorgeous projects.

Things that make you go awwww

He is back!

With a black eye! Apparently a game of spotlight - he fell over in the dark and hit his eye right on a root sticking out. SIGH. At least he had a GREAT time.

He is going camp

I have been all week saying to people. S11 is going to school camp - WOO HOO. We will get a break - YE HAW. But the last two days I have realised my anxiety is because he is going camp. It will only be for two nights but I have been really teary. Last night we talked about it. It was a late night but it was the best talk we have had together in ages. He had a few tears about a couple of things and I was strong. When I said good night I told him I would really miss him and left with tears in my eyes.

I know this will come as a shock to friends and family but I will really miss him. He goes tomorrow. I have to pull myself together and be strong. I am regretting tomorrow when I have to wave him off.

It is actually Leonie's fault... yes it is!

Leonie posted about some Chai tea that she bought from Cathie at Melbourne Epicure. I immediately emailed Cathie (I am a follower of her blog as well) and begged she send me some. Cathie understood the urgency and I have been relishing the smells and my quiet moments with a cuppa in my hand.

I was at the local quilt shop and saw this. Those who know me well - know I do not buy anything unless I have a plan for it. Bugger that!

Hey BRISBANE!

I am coming!!!!! In Easter. We will be staying with a friend (YUP all five of us) for a WHOLE week (like omg).

Preteen boys want to do wet and wild and Australian Zoo

Me wants to do Beach and MARKETS.

Please advise the BEST Markets to visit (centralish). I am keen to see crafty markets (surprise) and also a market I saw about 10 years ago on the river bank on Sunday morning - is it still going? Is it still as brilliant as it was back then. I don't want to visit second etc - wont have time or luggage allowance to do so!

What is it about...

Babies and biting mummies - especially toes?

Can anyone tell me? It makes me squeal when I feel his mouth latching on and he then starts to cry - all rather funny actually - except when he does actually bite. You think his toys would be more appealing?
