Is that jeans I see in the ironing pile? Don't worry about those, just fold them and put them away - noone in their right mind irons jeans unless you like them with a crease down the front but you'd have to be in your 80's to want that!!
I hate ironing but for some odd reason find ironing hankies quite enjoyable!!
DEFINATELY take those hankies AND jeans out. I only iron when absolutely neccessary. I think there should be a ban on it. .. but I always feel better when I'm wearing ironed clothes. Catch 22.
I must be the slackest woman on the planet. I only iron if it is absolutely necessary and I have taught Lucas if it looks OK give it a good flick and put it on. I wear lots of linen so it always looks crumpled.
isn't it a horrible part of the job. We don't sign on for it do we.

ReplyDeleteMmmm....I'm with Catherine on this one 'shake and fold'. I also put shirts on hangers and hang out to dry - minimum ironing. Less time spent ironing.
